Step 1 |
Go to the Library Web Page HTTP://library.doncallejon.org |

Step 2 |
Click on Citation Maker. |

Step 3 |
Click on Citation Maker under the subtitle “Citing Sources (High School and Middle School Students)” |

Step 4 |
Mark the appropriate type of source on the left side of the page. The list of information needed will automatically change with the type of source. |

Step 5 |
Type in the requested information. |

Step 6 |
Save the Citation. |
|
Step 7 |
Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 for each of your citations. |

Step 8 |
When completed, click on Show My Citations. All of your citations should appear on the screen |

Step 9 |
Highlight and copy all of the citations. Go to the edit menu. Choose copy. |

Step 10 |
Open a word document. From the edit menu, select paste special. Select “Formatted Text (RTF)”. Click “OK”. |

Step 11 |
Put the title “Works Cited” on you word document. |

Step 12 |
Alphabetize your sources by the first letter of each entry. |

Step 13 |
Highlight the citations. · Go to the Format menu · Choose Paragraph · Click on Hanging under the Special pull down Menu. · Click ok. This will indent the second line of all selected citations. |

Step 14 |
Highlight everything on the page. · Go to the Format menu. · Choose Paragraph · On the “Line Spacing” pull down menu, click on “Double” spacing. This will double-space your citations. |

Step 15 |
Print your page. You are done. Congratulations. |
